For black and white printers, because the number of different models is really huge, we have made very few instructions, but in most cases we can also help you by just sending us an email with your printer model. Youtube has helped us a lot here as well.

How it works:The life of Cartridges with Chip is determined by the Chip. With each printing you gradually reduce Chip life and this information is saved to the Chip as a percentage. When the percentage reaches 0%, the Chip is consumed. Only after replacing the Chip with a new one the printer can recognize the toner cartridge as full. The Chip must be replaced when the printer says "empty toner or replace toner". This should always happen after the cartridge has ben refilled the Chip has to be changed. We do not recommend that you replace the Chip without filling a half empty cartridge, in order to consume the little toner that may be left inside, this will rarely work. Each Chip can only be used once and then rendered useless given that the percentage of his life can only be reduced and not increased.
