Πώς λειτουργεί: Οι αρχικές κασέτες (starter Cartridges) που συνοδεύουν τον εκτυπωτή με την αγορά του, έχουν συνήθως μικρή ή το πολύ την μισή ποσότητα τόνερ, αν αυτές τις κασέτες απλά τις ξαναγεμίσουμε ο εκτυπωτής δεν τις βλέπει σαν γεμάτες αλλά θα συνεχίσει να τις βλέπει άδειες, διότι τους λείπει το συγκεκριμένο εξάρτημα (μοχλός) το οποίο βέβαια υπάρχει στις άλλες κασέτες του εμπορίου. Τοποθετώντας το εξάρτημα μπορούμε να τις γεμίσουμε και ο εκτυπωτής να τις βλέπει σαν γεμάτες.
Το εξάρτημα χρειάζεται μόνο στις αρχικές κασέτες (starter Cartridges) στις οποίες και απουσιάζει. Αν οι κασέτες σας είναι αγορασμένες μετέπειτα (του εμπορίου) αυτές το έχουν και δεν χρειάζεται να το αγοράσετε.
